Revival Project
The Revival Project
The Revival Project is an annual textiles project hosted by Lotherton Hall and aimed at GCSE, BTEC and A Level students. Following the success of the 2009 and 2010 projects, this years students are encouraged to take influence from Native American costume as featured in our up and coming exhibition 'Warriors of the Plains'. During the Revival Project, students from schools throughout Yorkshire research, design and produce pieces inspired by the collections at Lotherton Hall. As part of this year's theme, 'Warriors', young designers will take part in both Research and WIKI Training Days, aiming to produce a winning design to be displayed amongst other items of Native American costume within our own costume gallery at Lotherton Hall.
The Revival Project WIKI Website
The Revival Project WIKI Website functions as a support network for participating students. It allows online access to the project brief, research notes, photos, videos and links that may be useful during the design process.
Using the WIKI Website, students can:
- Collaborate with their project team
- Document their progress online
- Take part in discussions and contribute to threads
- Receive comments, compliments and feedback
- Be aware of important dates and deadlines
- Contact the Revival Team for help and support
